Teacher

Responsible for the day-to-day activities in the classroom. Responsible for the planning and designing of daily program. Ensure the safety and well-being of children in the classroom and maintain classroom records. Supervision of Teacher's Assistant as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 24 ECE/CD units (including core units plus 16 GE units). AA degree preferred. Must have completed 175 days (3 + hours per day within 4 years) of experience in an early childhood setting. Effective written and oral communication skills required. Proficient in developing and maintaining cooperative staff relationships. Must be 1st Aid (infant/child/adult) and CPR certified. Experience in working with diverse cultures. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
