Family Advocate
Maintain a healthy, therapeutic, and safe environment for all residents. Must have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to residents and fellow employees. Work with residents to develop the skills necessary for independent living. Ensure an environment, which addresses the spiritual, physical, emotional and developmental needs of all mothers, babies and prenatal residents.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or Human Services related degree required.Minimum 3 years of experience working with adolescents is required.Good oral and written communication skills.Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to the agency’s insurance carrier.Physical ability to perform ProAct, administer first aid/CPR and operate an Agency motor vehicle.Ability to independently use a computer and the ability to learn necessary computer programs.
