Sabrina

Sabrina's mother was serving jail time for the first five years of Sabrina's life, and within two weeks of her release Sabrina, her mother, and two siblings were in an auto accident.  Her two siblings suffered permanent injuries and her mother, who was drunk at the time, was killed.

Stephanie

Stephanie was 14 years old when her mother passed away and she went to live with her father.  Shortly after, Stephanie was removed from his care and placed in a foster home.

Tiana

Tiana arrived at St. Anne’s in the winter of 2002. She was just 16 years old, but had already been a mom to her son Cory for almost two years.

St. Anne’s was Tiana’s third placement “in the system.” Her first stop had been at an emergency shelter program because, as she puts it, “I had no where else to go. I was homeless.”
